Know which business handles your job

How Our Network Works

Tree beside a single-story home with a clear front yard

Begin with the business name

Nobodymile Tree Service makes referrals. Providers in our network are independent businesses that assess and carry out tree work. They are not employees of Nobodymile Tree Service.

When you reach a provider, ask for its business name and confirm who would quote and perform the job. Save that name with your appointment notes. If another business would handle part of the work, ask what it would do and who would be responsible for it.

Describe the hazard before the project

Start with anything that could make the site unsafe. Mention hanging limbs, a split trunk, blocked access, or nearby wires. Stay clear while describing the problem. Do not move closer just to answer a question.

Then explain what you want assessed. Say whether the tree is standing or down. Note nearby structures and any known access limits. If you are seeking a tree falling service, explain that you want a standing tree taken down. Let the provider decide how to assess it.

Ask for a task list you can read

A price means more when you know what it includes. Use these questions to check the scope:

  • Which tree or stump does the quote cover?
  • Does the price include hauling away branches and logs?
  • Is stump grinding included or quoted separately?
  • How will equipment reach the tree?
  • Who checks permits and property access permission?
  • What insurance documents can I review?
  • What happens if the assessment changes the scope?

For grinding, ask what will remain. Wood chips and a dip in the ground may need separate attention. Ask whether filling that space is part of the quote.

Agree on the appointment directly

The provider confirms its own availability and appointment details. Ask whether the visit is for an assessment or for agreed work. Discuss how weather or unsafe conditions could affect the plan.

Keep pets and children away from the work area. Move vehicles only if the route is safe. Ask the provider what else you can prepare. Cutting limbs or shifting heavy logs should not become part of your homework.

Decide after you understand the offer

You can ask for clarification before accepting a quote. Confirm the price, payment terms, cleanup, and business name in writing. If something sounds different from your request, settle that point with the provider first.

Request a callback to check provider availability and discuss a tree removal appointment. Have your address and a short task list ready. Nobodymile Tree Service helps make the connection; the provider handles the assessment and any work you choose to book.
